Received quickly. Can’t wait to give for birthday gift!
This was the perfect birthday gift for a friend who enjoys both hiking and traveling. The mapped mountain peaks were ideal for highlighting the trips around the world she’s taken, along with the places she’s called home. The personalization makes it all the more special. The seller is an excellent communicator who is willing to work with you to make it “just right” and provides many options. I highly recommend!

Our map is a piece of art. Peter and Pepper made all the edits I asked for (there were a lot) in a very timely matter. My husband was surprised and delighted with his 45 Anniversary gift!
I wanted an unusual gift for my husband for our anniversary and stopped looking when I came across the offerings from Custom Family Gifts. Their customer service assisted in tweaking my selection and my husband was truly delighted when he opened his gift highlighting our travel adventures over the years. I got the 24x24 on a walnut frame and just loved giving him this phenomenal gift! Jacqueline Young
This was a great unique gift for our parents that love to travel. The picture was beautifully crafted with vibrant colors. Sellers were great with communicating! I highly recommend.
Seller was communicative, accommodating and kind! They helped fix the maps to trail maps, which is exactly what I was looking for. They also sent multiple proofs, I was able to make requests and the final product turned out perfect. My boyfriend loved it. Highly recommend!
Easy process and beautiful product Thank You!
Incredible item. Responded quickly to questions and produced exactly as requested.
The time and effort that Peter put into this map, finding all the detail that I was looking for was amazing!!! his time and patience was well appreciated. The map came out fantastic! Only slight drawback was that it was just a plastic frame in plastic front not glass, I just think that would have added a higher quality to the item. Such a great idea!! I would order from him again, but maybe do the canvas framed instead
This is the perfect girt for my sister who has been traveling for work for the last 2 years. Thanks.
Beautiful print, exactly how I wanted it. Liked being able to see the proofs before it went to printing so I could make any amendments. Beautiful present for my partner on our anniversary!
Beautiful custom artwork - excellent gift. Worked with me to create exactly what I wanted. Excellent customer service.
Awesome communication! Seller sent multiple proofs and was very kind to combine elements from different proofs. The finished product is great and I can't wait to give it as a gift! Thank you!

My husband was extremely impressed by the quality and detail of the map! Thank you very much for putting different year maps for the towns we lived in more than once! He said it’s such a unique gift! I finally surprised him! Thank you very much! Diane
I purchased this as a gift so I’ve never had the item in hand, so I don’t feel I can speak to the quality, the framed picture looked nice. Peter was very easy to communicate with to get the exact item that I wanted. Changing fonts and layouts etc… The recipient of the gift seemed to really like it and did hang it on a prominent wall in their house. Thank you!
This was for my parents 60th anniversary. Loved it!
They made pretty much exactly what I was looking for, kept in excellent contact about the whole thing and made it all very simple.

Frequently Asked Questions
What if I don't like my artwork?
You get to see your artwork as proofs before it's printed. Anytime before approval you can request a refund if you do not want to proceed.
No questions asked.
Can I order additional copies?
Yes, identical or near identical copies are offered at cost. We only charge for printing and shipping for additional copies. Just ask.
What work goes into my artwork?
We do research on all your locations - pulling up many options for each place so we can balance and match the set.
We try our hardest not to repeat similar colors or styles next to each other, and as the map count goes up, that balancing act gets more and more difficult.
Special attention is paid to the text that you provide, we will position and balance or even embellish the artwork to make it really pop.
Can I use a photo instead of a map?
Yes, any of our "map sections" work perfectly well with photos. We offer color correction and light image manipulation such as removing unwanted details at no extra charge.
What if I need additional copies?
For copies, or very similar prints (varying the text by a bit, for example) we charge only the cost of printing.
If you have a digital copy you're also free to reproduce it as many times as you want.
Can I get it by [date]?
Because of our unlimited revision policy, and the variable nature of shipping, it's difficult give exact dates for delivery. Though we are very good at estimating. Tell us your dates and we'll do our best to pull the right strings to make it work.
What if my place is tiny or remote?
Over the years there have only been a handful of locations we've been unable to map. For the vast majority of places, we have multiple map options.
Whether it's remote, small, or obscure, I bet you we can find a map for it.
Can I ship directly to the recipient?
Yes, we can also include a gift note so your loved ones know who sent them this awesome gift.
Do you ship internationally?
Canada, definitely. Rest of the world, please ask. In the current year, it's often times much easier to order digital and arrange for a local print shop to take over.
Can I make changes to my order?
Yes! Add or remove locations even after you've placed your order.
Change locations, add or alter text. We can even switch designs. Just ask.
Can I make copies myself?
Yes! You are free to reproduce your copy of the artwork, as many times as you want. We claim no rights to your specific artwork.
Where do I print my digital files?
Prints can be done at FedEx Office, Office Depot, or any local print shop. Many stores accept emailed files for pickup when ready. Ready-to-hang same day prints can be found at Walmart Photo and many pharmacies.
Call first.
Should I pet the badger I found?
No, please call your local animal control.
